Count (NPO) Profile

  • We have 25 years of experience in primary mathematics teacher development, learner support community mathematics education programmes.
  • As an independent service provider we are dedicated to improve mathematics teaching and learning in the primary school and engage ECD practitioners , youth and parents/caregivers in this drive.
  • We take on this challenge by constantly re-evaluating our programmes and approaches in order to find practical, achievable and imaginative solutions that meet the needs of South African society in current times.

Why our country needs the Family Maths Programme (FMP)

§Bridges need to be built between the school and the wider community;
§FM is an interactive and entertaining way to get parents/caregivers involved in their children’s mathematics education;
§As the child’s first teachers they need to be supported with programmes and resources like the FMP that give them the tools and confidence to sustain their influence and continue to be valued in this role no matter their standing or levels of education.
